Notary Francesco Steidl, was born in Florence on New Year’s Eve of 1959, he graduated in law in his hometown in 1984, and for barely two years he was enrolled in the bar of Florence as an attorney-at-law. Shortly afterwards, he applied for the public competitive examination to become a notary and passed it on his first attempt, becoming an appointed notary in 1989, and practicing in Florence from year 1993.
His family originally came from Bohemia, from where his ancestors moved to Florence in the early fifth decade of 19th century following the Habsburg-Lorraine family, for whom they were administrators.
He joined the panel of several study seminars and in 2008 he was the co-founder of the law society Insignum (www.insignum.it), composed of approximately 52 notary firms and members of Academia, which organizes 10 annual continuing education and in-depth seminars on topics of interest to notaries, with the contribution of notaries and university professors. The association is certified by the National Council of Notaries and awards educational credits to notaries.
